Hello World! My name is Kalpit Parikh. I was born in Vadodara, Gujarat on November 13, 1984, twenty-four minutes past the stroke of midnight. I immigrated to America with my family two weeks shy of my ninth birthday. I studied Engineering in college and work as a Patent Examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office. In my spare time I enjoy photography, biking, and reading. The only book I have read more than once is Native Son. Some of my favorite authors include Leo Tolstoy, Gabriel Márquez, and Haruki Murakami.
